Welcome to the new CompTIA.org!

We’ve rebuilt our website from the ground up and wrapped it in a lightweight, modern design to make our content much more accessible. The homepage design should give you a first idea of our design direction, but once you start clicking around, you’ll find many improvements and new features that were designed to work with your PC, tablet and smartphone.

Register for free

Whether you are a long time member, or you are visiting CompTIA.org for the first time, there’s a lot to explore and read. We proudly invite you to browse, discover and download CompTIA’s content, such as our in-depth IT industry research and channel training materials. Much of our content is now available free of charge for registered users. You can start now and access content in less than a minute: Registration is free and anyone can register.

Overhauling the entire site completely also means that we have restructured all content. We have heard from you loud and clear that making things easier to find was a necessary step to take. To complement the content, you will quickly notice a simple and streamlined navigation that is much easier to use.

Explore the new site

Of course, as with any change, there will be a bit of a learning curve. Here are some quick tips to help you get the most out of CompTIA.org:

  • Navigation: Most pages are no more than two clicks away, and the drop down "mega-menu" gets you to your destination quickly. You will also find a task navigation on many pages, useful for quickly finding pages for common tasks.
  • Insight & Tools: There is no longer a “Members” area. You can find all our content, including research, guides, tools, and templates in Insight & Tools.  Registered users can download most content for free. Our Premier Members  will find targeted, IT Channel research and tools unavailable anywhere else online. You will see this advanced content to be marked with a "*". Use our advanced filters to drill down into what's available and find what you are looking for.
  • Communities: As a registered user we welcome you to join one of our communities where you can connect with IT experts and participate in industry initiatives.
  • My Account: When you register, we’ll create an account for you, which you can view and manage by logging in using the person icon in the top navigation bar. You can use My Account to edit your areas of interest, contact and security settings, and manage your newsletters subscriptions. Premier members can use My Account to claim Premier Membership benefits, manage their employees’ access to CompTIA.org, view their Trustmark information and more.
  • Search: If you are looking for specific content, you’ll notice that Search is much more noticeable, fast, and accurate than it was before. You can use the magnifying glass at the top of every page to get to Search at any time, or use Search on the homepage or in Insight and Tools.
