Three Leading Managed Services Providers Honored by MSP Partners and CompTIA
Industry Awards for leadership and outstanding performance presented to Faye, Pollack & Associates, Alpheon Corporation and Safe Systems
Las Vegas, Nev., Nov. 17, 2009 – Three leaders in the fast-growing managed services market were honored here today with awards for industry excellence from MSP Partners, a community of CompTIA, the leading trade association for the global information technology (IT) industry.
The MSP Partners 2009 Industry Awards were presented to Faye, Pollack & Associates, Inc., Encino, Calif.; Alpheon Corporation, Morrisville, N.C.; and Safe Systems, Inc., Alpharetta, Ga. The award ceremony took place during this week’s XChange Tech Innovators conference.
“In an industry rich with innovation, these three companies have clearly moved to the forefront by demonstrating their leadership in the delivery of cost-effective technology solutions to customers,” said Todd Thibodeaux, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA, who presented the awards.
Craig Pollack, co-founder and chief technology officer for Faye, Pollack & Associates, a provider of outsourced IT services to growing businesses in the Los Angeles area, received the award for Managed Services Leadership. Pollack was honored for his “stellar track record for active participation and leadership in the MSP industry.”
Alpheon Corporation, which provides IT management and services solutions to customers across the eastern United States, received the award for MSP Innovation. Greg Donovan, president and chief executive officer of Alpheon, accepted the award, which recognized his company’s innovative business strategies. The company’s guiding philosophy is “Incremental improvement beats delayed perfection.”
Safe Systems, Inc., providing IT and compliance focused technology exclusive to financial institutions, received the award for Overall Best in Class, signifying the highest current performance level in an industry. Safe Systems was recognized for outstanding performance in all aspects of running its managed services business. Scott Galvin, executive vice president, Support Services, accepted the award.
Master and MSP Pro level members of MSP Partners were eligible to receive the awards.
MSP Partners, a community of CompTIA, provides managed services research and education.
