CompTIA Events Announcement
Valued Members and Partners of CompTIA,
After consulting with our sponsors, members of the CompTIA Board of Directors, and other leaders within the MSP community, we’ve decided to cancel the upcoming Managed IT Services Summit.
Coming off the energy and excitement of Breakaway and its strong MSP focus, the feedback we received was to direct our energy in two areas over the coming months. First, focus on attending and supporting the tremendous slate of IT channel events that are scheduled through the rest of the year.
Second, increase our regional outreach bringing compelling content directly to you -- providing one-day, affordable local events for MSPs around the U.S. We’ll soon add an event in the Los Angeles area to augment our current lineup of Chicago (Oct. 14), New York (Nov. 11), and Washington, D.C. (Dec. 9). Click here for more information.
We have a busy agenda over the coming months and big plans for 2010. More than ever, we’re focused on building our member communities and expanding the opportunities for productive engagements, whether face-to-face at group meetings, regional events, our annual member meeting (April 2010), or Breakaway (August 2010) – or online through our planned CompTIA Channel Community and CompTIA IT Pro Community.
Thank you very much for your support of CompTIA. As always, I welcome your comments or feedback at ceo@comptia.org.
Sincerely,
Todd
